Theme for Today: "The importance of Couples"
Paul tells the husband to love his wife as Christ loved His Church and gave Himself for it, and the wife to be faithful to her husband, even as the Church is obedient to Christ in everything. Thus, the two husband and wife, forsaking all others become one flesh, one in thought, intent, and hope, in all concerns of the present life.
So starts: "The importance of Couples"
The word Family encompasses, husband and wife with a single child,a couple with more than one child are a couple with no children out all.
When united and coming together as one, leaving Father and Mother, forsaking all others in
Holy Matrimony, we have the starting of a family!
I'm writing this letter with a deep and sincere burden for not only the couples of our local assembly, but also for couples far and wide.
The devil is attacking our couples,our families at an astounding rate. Percentage of successful marriages are at an all time low.
Satan would like us to think that a successful marriage is a thing of the past and is of no importance.
Satan is a liar, and the truth is not in him!
Having a successful marriage is more important today, than in times past.
With a successful marriage, comes a successful family!
I don't just mean monetarily, but fundamentally and spiritually.!
The very basis of marriage starts back to the time of Adam and Eve.(1 man - 1 woman = family)
And it is because of families, that churches can have,growth and all different types of outreach. Without couples/family there is no church, no different outreach's within the church.
Different outreaches such as; Sunday School, bus ministry, children church, quizzing, youth depatrment and even young adult classes.
The devil often times will allow couples to feel they are overlooked, are just taken for granite, often make them feel that their very existence is of no importance. But that is so far from the truth!
God knows the importance of couples, that's why He made (Adam & Eve) as adults, and then children came later.
Because He knew that in order for there to be a family,a foundation if you will, it had to start with a couple!
Without Couples there is NO foundation for a FAMILY, no foundation for a church!
It is because of the very foundation of marriage that we have churches,different outreaches,and different departments within our churches!
I encourage each couple to know; that you are important; more now; than ever before!
You and your spouse are truly important; not only in your local assembly, but also to the church as a whole!
I pray that each couple become one in thought, one in hope and that you both realize; beyond a shadow of a doubt that; "YOU ARE IMPORTANT!"
